The New Start Career Network (NSCN) and the New Jersey Community College Consortium (NJCCC) have announced an exciting new program to help New Jersey’s older (ages 45+) long-term unemployed job seekers reconnect to full-time employment.
New Start Reconnect offers New Jersey businesses the opportunity to receive up to $10,000 in wage reimbursement per hire for up to six months for hiring a NSCN member. Participating in New Start Reconnect allows any New Jersey business of any size within the life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and information technology industries to be reimbursed 50% to 90% of an eligible NSCN member’s wages, based on the company’s current number of employees.
