How to take advantage of RTWNJ in 2016 – Part Four

One of the benefits being made available to you through the Ready to Work New Jersey grant is a formal assessment tool. By completing the assessment(s) you will be able to better determine your strengths as it relates to the job search process.

The assessments are free of charge through the RTWNJ grant and unfortunately, they are one of our most under used resources. The soft skills assessment are available from Learning Resources Inc. (LRI). New candidates are added to the system at the end of each month and emails are sent directly from LRI to candidates. If you haven’t received your link, please check your spam folder. If you are new to RTWNJ, please wait until the beginning of next month to receive your invitation to participate.

Don’t forget to return to your log in after you finish an assessment to review your individual results. An assessment feedback report is available immediately after you complete each assessment under My Assessments.

Of the over 3,400 candidates in our system, only 292 have taken advantage of this service – That’s just over 9% of those eligible! If you’ve received the link, please utilize this valuable assessment tool. You might just learn something! If you can’t locate your link, please send an email by using this link: Missing Assessment
