Your Ready To Work Update:
Proof of Unemployment
In order to receive training and benefits through the Ready To Work NJ Program there are several documents that need to be supplied by you. One of them is proof of Unemployment.
Below are 3 examples that can verify you have valid NJ Unemployment claim and are 6+ months long term unemployed:
- If you filed by phone and received statements in the mail – scan and upload your final statement;
- If you filed online – log into www.njuifile.net and do a screen shot of your summary benefits page;
- You can contact your local One-Stop and ask for a proof of unemployment (LOOPS screen) that can be scanned and uploaded to your RTW Account.
Additionally, any document per the “Jobs for Veteran’s Act” qualify. If you haven’t provided any of these documents, please take the time to upload them to your RTWNJ Tapo account.
