Your Ready To Work Update:
The Ready To Work NJ program believes that cooperation among a variety of organizations is optimal for the success of our program. Nothing exemplifies this more than the recent discussion with Carteret’s Mayor Daniel J. Reiman. The Mayor and other city officials along with Sivaraman Anbarasan, CEO of the NJ Community College Consortium and principal partner of the Ready To Work NJ grant, met to discuss how the program is helping long-term unemployed/underemployed people find meaningful work.
Mayor Reiman and his team were so impressed with the program that they are promoting it to their city’s constituents who are searching for employment. There are four information sessions scheduled at the Carteret Library,100 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, NJ 07008 to publicize the RTW Program and help residents register. These dates are: July 27th 10 AM – 12 PM; August 1st 11 AM – 1 PM; August 13th 1 PM – 3 PM; and August 22nd 1 PM – 3 PM.
